Sturdy and good size
I bought two of the 24oz scoops to replace plastic dog food scoops... One of which was left out accidentally and my puppy ate because it smelled like food ($400 vet adventure but he's fine thank goodness). I'm really impressed with the sturdiness and value for the price. Definitely do not have to worry about puppy eating these! And they are the perfect size to scoop out dog food for my three!

If you plan on using this as an ice scoop, get the next size up. You won't get much ice per scoop. For other products, it works.
The handle is a bit small and tends to slip (rotate) in your hand when wet. I was hesitant to purchase this item as the small handle didn't look like it would be strong at the attachment point, but it turns out that the scoop and handle are all one piece.
I use this to scoop powdered fertilizer out of 5 pound bags. I had use a plastic scoop in the past but it broke off at the handle - this one is holding up nicely.

The handle on this scoop is ridiculous, an adult will not be able to get a good grip on it , the handle would fit a small child's hand, you need to be able to grip a scoop handle to dish into ice . I can barely get three fingers on the handle and I do not have big hands. And the item description states 12oz - good luck with that, maybe 6 to 8oz. The product photo re: the handle appearance in relation to the scoop size is not accurate. I'll see if my grandkids can use this in their sandbox, because I won't be using it.
